OOTD FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH: RED LEATHER JACKET

Bi-polar weather has been a constant feature of this winter for us in KC. Cold days interspersed with pleasantly warm days, have  made dressing up a bit confusing. So on days when the sun is shinning righter than usual for a winter day, means that you dress in lesser layers.

Brighter weather also calls for brighter outfits for me. So I picked out my red leather jacket from my closet for a casual Sunday brunch with the family. Its a Biker style cropped Faux Leather jacket from Forever 21,which does a good job in concealing my Mommy Tummy flab. Its beautifully textured all over.  The stitching detail lends it a lot more character. A perfect statement piece which can be paired with many outfits over time. It would also look great with an all black maxi skirt or a even a printed skater dress. Possibilities are endless to mix and match this statement piece.

I paired it with a silk Kaftan blouse with floral prints in aquamarine, green and red. Dark navy Jeggings from American Eagle and Black knee high boots from Steve Madden.

Brown sunglasses from FENDI and a Kenneth Cole Reaction handbag completed the outfit.

My two year old fashionista wore her denim dress paired with a chunky  knit white sweater from Baby Gap. Black Booties with off white tights and an off white bow with gold detailing sealed the deal. Not to forget her cool Mickey Mouse all black sunnies.

The Man kept up the Red Theme. He color co-ordinated with me, with his red RALPH LAUREN sweater and navy blue skinny jeans from DIESEL. His Tag Huer Carrera watch completed his outfit.
