Culottes have been around for a couple of years now. Initially I had no intention of jumping the bandwagon. But finally I gave in. Comfort won me over. I am a Skinny jeans kinda gal, so straying away from my comfort zone, was quite a thing. While I experiment a lot with my dresses and skirt and tops, I was not that keen to give my skinny denim a break. I am petite, with a bit of pear shape. Mom Bod and proud of it. For my height, I wanted to pick up a pair of culottes which were not too log or too short. Ideally, I could have also taken a few inches off the current pair, that I am wearing, but I liked the length.
It had a great structure and it lay on my body well. It was boxy, yet had its feminine touch, with its tie up details. Did I mention, how comfortable it is ? You wear it, and you feel like, you are walking on the clouds. Especially on the typical Midwestern hot Summer days. I loved it so much, that I got it in a Khaki too.
Leopard is a Neutral. We all know that. When you find a purse , which also shouts out the same idea, you pick it up.
