LEATHER PANTS & THANKSGIVING GLAM: EXPRESS STYLE FILES

Thanksgiving Glam - EXPRESS  edition! Yes, I am one of the few who was waiting for Thanksgiving and hadn't switched over to Christmas yet! Usually we do Friendsgiving every year and I love my outfits to be comfy with a touch of glam. So the Leather Pants from EXPRESS paired with a top with a fun Fall print, seemed like a perfect idea. Paired it with white ankle boots, but could also pair with white sneaks.

BROW LAMINATION: BEAUTY BRANDS AMBASSADORSHIP

Brow Lamination has been on my wishlist for long! Leah Jones from the Overland Park location of @beauty.brands is a Brow Goddess. During our consultation, we spoke about what my inspiration is for my brows, and what I want to achieve with my brows. She mapped my brows and waxed them first.

Then we proceeded onto the actual Brow Lamination part of the process - which includes the relaxer and the neutralizer along other steps. Remember Perming from the 80s and 90s. It’s a similar process but for brows.

My natural brows aren’t very pigmented so I have loved brow tints always. So it was a no-brainer to opt for some brow tint!

And I was ready with my new brows! Fluffy, fun, and full brows! 

If you want to get brow lamination, make sure you don’t get any chemical processes done to your face 48 hours before. Also, after brow lamination it’s recommended that you don’t get water on your brows for at least 24 hours, best if you can go up to 48 hours! Old perming rules apply here as well! As for aftercare, it’s recommended that you apply a thin layer of oil on your brows at night and you remember to brush them upwards with a clean spoolie in the mornings!

We started off with Root Refresh to tackle my “Hair Glitter - Grays”, followed by Face-framing foils and curtain bangs to create that Money-Piece look, then Root-smudge, and some toner action to bring it all together! The rich mahogany tones of the roots are a perfect offset to the face-framing honey-blonde highlights.
