TROPICAL TWIST

Trendy Tropical was one of the major trends of NYFW SS'17. And as Miranda Priestly, would have said, it did trickle down. From the Runways, to the Racks, literally, in no time, almost. The explosion of color, the boldness of the prints, presents quite an aesthetic. The moody florals of Fall, come back with bright pops of color, added to the mix.  It makes us dream of beach holidays, of frozen cocktails, of floral crowns and so much more.

While I love my romantic florals, I could not shy away from my tropical roots. This Black Floral Linen Top just called out to me, and I knew it had to be on my packing list for my recent holiday. Well, I wasn't heading to the sunny shores of the tropics, but the lake did have a beach.

I love how the silhouette of the black floral top is. Its loose and flowy , and very feminine.  While its alright to do Tropical Prints from head to toe, I wanted to balance mine with a Basic - Denim Cut offs. For accessories and make up, I wanted to play up the tone of Yellow flowers of the top. So Orange Lips - MAC Lady Danger , loads of bronzer, an orange clutch , and gold and brown block heels. Not to forget my orange Rayban Aviators.
