I had attended my first Blogging conference last Saturday. The Kansas City chapter of Go Blog Social . It was a day of learning, of networking and a day for Journospeak, away from the laptop. As it was a day long affair , I wanted to dress Comfy Chic so settled for shoes with no heels. Surprisingly we have been blessed with a few warm days this Winter.Pairing Black and Brown can be tricky. I know some people consider it a Fashion No - No, but you can make it work. As the dress was black, I decided to go for Brown and gold accessories. A cute black floral dress from H & M , is juxtaposed against Brown leather combat boots . I brought the brown elements together with a light brown belt with gold studs. Carried forward the gold detailing with my Rose Gold Zara Bag with gold studs. Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace in Rose Gold and Magenta. Light wash fitted Denim Jacket from H & M with rose gold buttons. Feminine and Edgy with a great comfort level. And the Floral crown I had made at the conference with The Bloom Academy was just the perfect Spring accessory.
